From Hotel to Macau Airport








Once everyone has gathered at the lobby, they waited for the bus to the Macau Airport. The hotel staff helped to carry their bags to the bus too. So kind. Everyone reached the Airport and waited at the lobby until check-in luggage call announced. Some of the group member visited the shop selling stamps in the Airport. They purchased some stamps and even brought limited edition stamps for collection. While waiting for the time to check-in luggage, writer and four others went to the 24 hours convenience shop for light lunch. After that, they check-in luggage and waiting for the departure call. In the plane back to Malaysia, writer had doughnut with hot milo. She also brought a Air Asia 4G pendrive in the plane. All reached Malaysia in less than four hours and took a group photo after collect luggages.



The Wine Museum





 



After visiting the Grand Prix Musuem, the group went to the Wine Museum of Macau. It is a place where visitors can experience the History of the Wine and the Vineyard. Throughout the space, it divided into three big areas known as Historical Information, Cellar-Museum and Wines Exhibition. Three of the writer's friends went to the Vinthos, where the wines are displayed according to the origins country. They tested the Portal and Mural wine in the Vinthos wine testing area. Feedback are, nice wine. Each of them brought wines from there too, some as a souvenir as mini bottle of wine available too. After purchase wine from there, all of them proceeded back to the Hotel to check-out. Everyone gathered at the hotel lobby before depart to the Macau Airport.

Macau Grand Prix Museum








When four of them reach the Grand Prix Museum, it still has not open. They waited at the entrance door for a while as the Museum will open in a few more minutes. After a while, the guard open the entrance door, greet us and let us in. The entrance fee is waived on that day. They proceeded to the counter and the receptionist gave them some brochures. Writer's friend brought wine testing coupon of HK$10 per glass and it is a reasonable price too. The group tooks pictures of displayed collections of racing cars and motobikes. The Museum, not only allows photographs, it also provide literature, displayes of  trophies, and various other pieces of memorabilia which are related to the Grand Prix.

Third Day: Breakfast and Final Trip


18 September 2010 was the third day, and also the final day in Macau for the group tour. Writer and four others went out for breakfast at the nearest coffee house. Writer had a toasted bread with butter and honey. So nice to eat, made fresh. The others also order another set to try too. After breakfast, all went the hotel lobby to wait for another person before proceeding to Macau Museum. At last, only four person went to the Musuem as writer's roommate is tired and also not feeling well. The group walks to the Musuem that morning. The whether was quite hot that day. It took about 5 minutes walking distance to reach the Musuem.

Night Tour and Back to Hotel


After watching the water show at the Wynn, the group went for a walk before they call it a day. Joking while walking down the street. The group took a picture a the bridge, what a beautiful night view. Then, the group went to other casinos as well. Writer and her roommate are very tired already at that time, but still moving on. Took some photos in the Grand Lisboa hotel. So grand and beautiful with the lighting and also lots of historical monuments displays in the building. After a while, the group walks back to their hotel and have a nice rest. They brought fish ball soup, with some vegetables for supper. So nice to eat and spicy one too.








Night Tour - To The Casinos


After six of them has their dinner at the Portuguese restaurant, they proceeded to the nearest casino, Wynn. The casino looks very colorful and nice too. They a look in the casino and some tried out their luck at the jackpot machines. Well, writer tried her luck, and guess what; she won a little. Then others follow and after a while, everyone left the casino. Around 10.55 p.m. the group reached the front of the Wynn and writer saw the signboard, stating that there will be water show in the pond at 11 p.m. So they decided to wait for a while and have their feet rest too. Amazingly, the water show started as per scheduled and the group enjoys the show. There are also other visitors as well, no payment charge for the show. Guess what, the show is so cool.

Dinner at the Portuguese Restaurant


The writer and five others went out at night for a night sight seeing and dinner. First, they went for dinner at the Portuguese Restaurant. Ordered some dishes of Portuguese foods. Foods are quite nice there and special too. The service is good too, as they are the only customer that night. Six of them enjoys the foods served and chatting, laughing, video taking, joking. Well, it is a very happy dinner moment. After dinner, the group went out for a walk and in the city. What a beautiful country, with colorful lights on most of the building, even nice signboard. They took some photos there, enjoy the beauty of the light like a bee, feel the wind blowing, posing for photo here and there and the most important is, enjoy with peaceful mind. Smile...









Back to Metro Park Hotel


After visiting the Macau Tower, which is also the last tour place from the tour guide, the tour bus left us nearby the Miami Food Court. All of them thanked the tour guide and the bus driver, check for any belonging left in the tour bus, and tour trip ends there. The group then went for a walk nearby and takes some photos there too. After about half an hour there, all walks to the bus stop. Waited for so long, the bus still haven't come and all proceeded to the Sand Castle Casino nearby bus station. The group took the bus to, change another bus at the other bus station, then head back to the Metro Park Hotel. Everyone is very tired and porceeded to their own rooms to get some rest. Writer and her roommate went back to their room and once again, like the first day, tidying all purchased goods and chatting in the room. After a while, they prepare for night free and easy tour with four others.






Macau Tower


After brought the souvenir, writer and two others went for a walk. Writer and her roommate went to the Giodano shop and brought 3 pieces of T-Shirts. Everyone gathered at the Senado Square fountain before proceeding to the next destination bus tour bus. The next destination is the Macau Tower, the tallest structure in Macau, China. There are also variety of adventures and extreme sports like bungee jumps and array of climbs. The group gets to see other visitor doing their bungee jump and it tooks only 3 seconds to go down the tower. Writer’s roommate went for handbag shopping once everyone went down to the ground floor of the tower. Writer’s roommate brought a panda slingbag and a panda handbag. Soon, everyone gatheres at the tower’s main entrance and wait for the tous bus to arrived and proceed to next destination.



Senado Square (Afternoon)


The tour guide takes the group to the Senado Square in the afternoon and let the group have their own walk and time for photos and sight seeing. Everyone visited the Senado Square Tower. Writer and her friends went up the stairs, going up the back of the Tower and take photo. After that, everyone gathered at the Senado Square Tower staircase and took another group photo. Then, visit the Na Tcha Temple, just by the side of Senado Square Tower. The whether is very hot at that time, and most of the members brought drinks from the nearby stall. Writer brought a bottle of fresh ice sugar-cane drink, it taste so good. After that, writer and the others went to the gift shop they visited yesterday to collect the ordered souvenirs. Writers paid in advance for all souvenirs and the guys carries the bag as it quite heavy.








NA TCHA TEMPLE

Half Day Tour by Macau Tour Guide


All 11 members gathered at the Metro Park Hotel lobby at 11 a.m, waiting for the tour guide bus for tour pick up. The tour bus came on time and the tour guide introduces herself and she also seek everyone opinion on what language that the group prefers. All agread on English as some of the members are non-chinese. The tour bus lead them to the first destination of the tour, the Lotus Square. As shown in the picture, the Lotus Square in Full Bloom painted with gold. The tour guide warned them not to step on the grass in the square, and anyone does, the guard will shout / yell at the person. The group takes group photo there and proceed back to the tour bus to go to next destination.

Day 2 Breakfast


On 17 September 2010, writer woke up early in the morning, dress up like a student. That day is her modelling day where she is going to take lots of photo. She wake her roommate at 8.30 a.m. and while waiting for her, tidy up her thing before going out for breakfast. Two others who stay next room has woke up too and preparing to begin their fresh journey of the day. Around 9 a.m, writer and the other five went out for breakfast. They went to dim sum restaurant to have breakfast. Amazingly, all of the six person, ordered 16 different dishes of dim sum as they breakfast as shown in the first photo. Luckily, 98% of the food served are “thumbs up”. So good that the writer wishes to have brreakfast like that again the next day.

Metro Park Hotel


After all day long, everyone is tired and very happy when reached hotel. Everyone checked-in and have a rest in their own room. Writer and her roommate are very exhausted. As soon as they reach their room, both layed on their bed and have their back bones rest. After a while, writer’s roommate tidy up her thing as she brought a long of things, especially from Senado Square. Both felt a little bit hungry and writer cook instant noodles for both of them. While waiting for the boiling water for instant noodles, writers took photos of the hotel rooms. After taking photos, writer pour the boiled water into the instant noodles cups and left it on the table. Then both chatting and laughing in the room while tidying their belongings. So funny.





Senado Square (Night)


Finally, everyone reached Senado Square at around 6.30 p.m. There were lots of tang lung and very colourful. Senado Square is a very beautiful place and it is a favourite popular destination in Macau. The group take the chance taking another group photo there, nearby fountain. The group separated and gather again later. Writer went with three others and surveys for souvenirs there. Surveyed four gift shops and finally found the shop with reasonable pricing. Souvenirs ordered to be collecting the next day. Meanwhile, the other group went to the Senado Square Tower and capture come night scene photos. Writer went for dinner with five others in a restaurant. After dinner, everyone gathered and went to get taxi there. It takes some time before everyone can get a cab because there are many people. They manage to get three taxis and all went back to Metro Park Hotel after waiting for a while.







From The Venetian to Senado Square


All of group members took the free bus to The Venetian. There, everyone visited the Casino. The group when to a very nice place shown in the pictures after visited the casino. Everyone takes some photos there. Time goes by and again, stomach is calling for food. All gathered at the food court and had some food. Everyone feel tired and sat at the food court for a while to rest their feet before proceeding to the next destination. The next destination is the Senado Square, travelling by shuttle bus and going to take a longer time to reach the place and it is the last visit place of the first day.





The Bubble Souviner Shop and Casino


After watching the Dragon's Treasure show, writer and the others went the Bubble Souviner Shop located nearby the show room exit door. Writer brought a pair of Dragon jackets from the Bubble Shop. The shop accept both Macau and Hong Kong currencies too but payment made via Hong Kong dollar is cheaper. Writer received a large size umbrella for free from the Bubble shop. So happy. The souviner group photo also brought from there, costing HKD80. Everyone looks so energitic. Then, everyone went visited the City of Dreams Casino. It is a very huge Casino. After visiting the Casino, everyone went to wait for the bus to The Venetian just right outside the City of Dreams. It is a free bus travel to The Venetian.

Food Paradise and The Dragon's Treasure Show













Writer and the others went for lunch at the Food Paradise. There are lots of variety and the prices are reasonable. Writer has wantan noodles and have a cold chocolate drink. The area is very clean and tidy. Purchases at the Food Paradise accept both Macau and Hong Kong dollar currencies with equal trade rate. Then, all gathered at The Bubble to watch the Dragon's Treasure show. Writer and the others took a souviner group photo before entering the show room. The Dragon show was awarded Ourstanding Achievement by the Themed Entertainment Association in 2010 and it costing nearly US$40 mil to create. Writer made a video recording of the show while others snaps photos.
